1. Planning Stage: *$35.00/hr (1-hour minimum)
Planning makes up the basis, the essentials. It includes gathering information, preparing for the project, and keeping track of important dates and times. It may also include scouting location, preparing staff, storyboarding, and scripting.
Scripting: In some cases, the talent might need to explain specific details to the viewer. Some people have a natural aptitude for expressing themselves. While others may have difficulty with it. Depending on the circumstances, the talent may need to script and rehearse what they will be saying.
Talent/People/extras: How will they look while shooting? Will there be a change of clothing/hair/makeup throughout the course of the shoot? A simple example; might be a person going about their daily routine, work, or it could be a demonstration.
Location: In which location will the recording take place? Indoors, outdoors, or both? I would recommend I check the location/s and note any locations that will be recorded and may include taking photos.
Also, I/we need to be familiar with any safety hazards and/or possibly distracting circumstances that could occur during recording? For example, are there road works, construction sites, animals, young children nearby? Is the recording taking place in a public space?
2. On-site/video recording: *$95.00/hr (2-hours minimum)
From the planning stage, the duration of video recording depends on what was planned and discussed. Approximately two to eight hours is to be expected.
Involves setting up (can take 30-45min) - lighting, camera, mic. Other factors include directing, producing, lighting, props/staging, tech checks, floor managing.
Please be prepared for the day of recording. This helps make the shoot run quickly and smoothly. Less stress for everyone.
Talent/s prepared - dressed appropriately, make-up/hair, script in hand.

Props set up
Expect errors. Talent will ‘trip’ over their words and/or background distractions may happen? Rehearsals are highly recommended before recording. This helps talent to become more comfortable with the set, the camera, the other people present, and themselves.
3. Post-production: *$40.00/hr (1-hour minimum)
Allow approximately 3-15 business days for completion. More or less, depending on the size of the project?
Post-production involves editing, colour grading, rendering, adding graphics (if any). Also, digital transfer of files (via FTP) and/or saving onto memory disk or burning onto DVD.
During post-production rough drafts of clip/s can be sent to the client during any stage of the project. Additionally, this period may also involve additional editing, corrections, or changes
It’s highly recommended to submit any relevant details needed for the video. Typically, this includes logos (high-resolution, preferably PNG), name and occupations of talent for the baseline, email/website address, or anything else necessary for post-production.
The final invoice/s will break down/itemise all parts of the production process ie. hours, changes made, production etc.
